Welcome to our Cummaquid Heights Association Website!
We are a friendly group who serve to maintain the attractiveness of our three neighborhood entrances and thereby enhance the value of all our residences.
We landscape the Three Entrances to Cummaquid Heights and we seasonally decorate our signage, fences, and road posts.
We create an environment of community spirit and offer social opportunities for members to meet and come together!
We assure communication with our membership via monthly newsletters and a printed directory.
Additionally, when possible, we provide information to our membership about any local actions or programs that might be of interest to our neighborhood.
The Association, has a volunteer dues-paying Board of Directors, elected by CHA Members at the CHA Annual Meeting each year usually held in October, at the Cummaquid Golf Club. https://cummaquidgolf.com/about-the-club/dress-code
Within the Board are some committees, on which CHA members can serve to help plan social events, holiday decorating, charitable works, etc.
Cummaquid Heights is composed of approximately 316+ properties, 86% of which are are located within the Town of Barnstable and 14% of which are in the Town of Yarmouth.
CHA has been in existence for over 30 years; in 2008, CHA's Founders decided to incorporate and CHA became a Massachusetts Chapter 180 Non-Profit Corporation on August 18, 2008; established pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 180.
A Massachusetts Chapter 180 corporation is a type of non-profit corporation specifically defined under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180 .
Members of the Cummaquid Heights Association, Inc. are those property owners who pay their annual dues on January 1 of each year.
The membership year runs from Jan 1 to Dec 31.
