Accomplishments

  • The sprinkler system on the front island 


  • The flag pole 


  • The front lighting upgrades and maintenance 


  • The fence installation and maintenance (expense 50% reimbursed by the Club) 


  • Major pruning work and annual plantings (expense 50% reimbursed by the Club) 


  • Full evergreen plant replacements (after two major accidents – paid by insurance) 


  • Back entrance fencing and plantings 


  • Installation of the stop signs at the 4 corners intersection (Beatrice Clark got them from DPW, Dave MacEachern and John Henderson installed them at no expense to CHA)


  • Installed traffic control speed humps


  • The creation of the garden area at the 4 corners 


  • The creation of the dogwood memorial garden at the foot of Wingfoot (remembering Cynthia Failey, former board Secretary) 


  • The engagement of C.L. Fornari to create a suitable planting program for various unattractive locations around the community 


  • The installation of the Directors’ memorial plaque on the front pillar


  • Installed storm drains


  • Paving Oakmont and Midpine


  • Monitoring the Village Green project
