On Friday, November 8, 1968 the Boston Herald Newspaper, had an advertisement for Cummaquid Heights!
"A new residential area overlooking a golf course. Home sites from $6,500; homes from the mid 30's.".
And so Cummaquid Heights of Barnstable and Yarmouth was born, and over the last 50+ years, we grew into a fine and friendly residential neighborhood in the village of Cummaquid.
New streets were added; many homes were built, and we now have 316+ property owners on 22 different by-ways; many named for famous Golf Courses by the original developer of the land.
