On Friday, March 15, 1968 Boston Herald Newspaper, had an advertisement for Cummaquid Heights!
"A new residential area overlooking a golf course. Home sites from $6,500; homes from the mid 30's.".
And so Cummaquid Heights was born, and over the last 50+ years, we grew into a fine and friendly residential neighborhood in the village of Cummaquid.
New streets were added; many homes were built, and we now have 316+ property owners on 22 different by-ways; many named for famous Golf Courses by the original developer of the land.
They are:
Althea, Augusta National, Brentwood, Congressional, Country Club, Cypress, Desert Sands, Doral, Dromoland, Firestone, Hamstead, Iris, Marstons, Medinah, Merion, Midpine, Oakmont, Samantha, Sisters, Spyglass Hill, Westchester, and Wingfoot.
