As Cummaquid Heights sits on two towns, Barnstable and Yarmouth, many residents have asked questions. Below are links to some of the town ordinances.

CHA HELPFUL INFORMATION - FOR BOTH TOWNS:

EMERGENCIES - Visible and Lit House Numbers can aid Police, Fire, and EMS in case of emergency. A 24" wide In-House Pathway is needed for an EMS Stretcher/Gurney.

INTERSECTIONS - CH has a very limited number of stop signs; CHA is grateful for cautious drivers. who stop at intersections.

PEDESTRIANS - CHA is thankful for walkers who Face the Headlights, not the tail-lights.

SPEED LIMITS- 30 MPH is the speed limit when no speed limit is posted.

VISIBILITY - The neighborhood is dark at night due to the limited number of street lights. CHA appreciates visible and lit lamp posts, from "dusk to dawn" operated by photocells or timers.

CHA drivers are glad to see pedestrians and cyclists with lights who wear retro-reflective clothing;

NOISE - CHA is thankful for neighbors who hold off their landscaping noise-making machines and activities until 9AM, when possible.
